Information Communication Technology Officer Iii At Makueni County Public Service Board

Duties and Responsibilities
This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
Writing and testing simple computer programmes according to instructions and specifications;
Assisting in the implementation of the computer systems;
Providing user support and training of users;
Repairs and maintenance of ICT equipment and associated peripherals;
Monitoring the performance of ICT equipment; and
Reporting any faults for a further action.

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have;
Be a Kenyan Citizen
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade C plain with at least C- (Minus) in Mathematics and English/Kiswahili or its approved equivalent;
Holder of a Diploma in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, electronics engineering or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;
At least a two years relevant experience;
Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Proficiency in digital communication tools, including social media platforms;
Basic graphic design and multimedia skills is an added advantage; and
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
