Key Purpose Statement
The Information Technology Business Partner will be mandated with:
Establishing and maintaining a productive working relationship with the business function in ensuring that IT services align with and support business objectives.
Efficiently manage and resolve business function/area IT issues, whilst achieving high user satisfaction, minimal disruption to business operations and adherence to IT governance and security protocols.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the business function/area and implement technology solutions that drive efficiency
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Effective IT-Business Collaboration: Establish and maintain a productive working relationship with the business area, ensuring that IT services align with and support business objectives.
Seamless IT Service Delivery : Efficiently manage and resolve business function/area IT issues, achieve high user satisfaction scores ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
Service Quality and User Satisfaction : Maintain high levels of satisfaction among end-users within the business function/area through responsive and efficient IT service delivery
IT Security and Compliance : Drive and ensure IT governance and security within business function/area to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements and audit standards
Enhanced Process Efficiency : Identify opportunities for process improvements within the business function/area and implement technology solutions that drive efficiency
Skills, Experience & Education
Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or a related field
A post graduate qualification will be advantageous
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Agile) will be advantageous
Experience:
12+ years in IT, with 2+ years in a business-facing IT role
Experience in IT operations, service management, or project coordination within a complex organizational structure
Skills:
Ability to analyze and resolve issues within the assigned business function/area, balancing both tactical and operational requirements
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and manage expectations within the business function/area
Familiarity with IT service management practices, incident resolution, and root cause analysis
Basic project management skills to support IT projects and process improvements within the business function/area
Understanding of IT compliance, data privacy, and security standards to support business function/area adherence to policies
