Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse - 50 Posts At County Assembly Of Kilifi

Duties and Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient's outcome;
Provide appropriate healthcare service including Integrated Management of Childhood Illnesses (IMCI), immunization, PMTCT, ante-natal care and delivery, providing health education and counseling to patients/clients and community on identified health needs;
Refer patients and clients appropriately;
Facilitate patients' admission and initiate discharge plans;
Maintain records on patients/clients health condition and care;
Ensure a tidy and safe clinical environment;
Collect and compile data;
Any other duty assigned.

Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:-
Bea Kenyan Citizen;
Have Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Kenya Registered Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Kenya Registered Nursing/ Midwifery or Kenya Registered Nursing/ Mental Health and Psychiatry from a recognized institution;
Have Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya;
Have a Valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya; and
Have Certificate in computer application.
