We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Primary School Teacher with a focus on Kiswahili and Social Studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that foster academic excellence and the holistic development of students.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the CBC Curriculum.
Use innovative teaching methods to encourage critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity in students.
Monitor and assess students' progress and provide timely feedback to help students improve their performance.
Offer additional support to students who require assistance in mastering key concepts.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration, respect, and student engagement.
Collaborate with other teachers to plan and execute interdisciplinary activities that enhance students' understanding of both subjects.
Participate in school-wide events, extracurricular activities, and projects that contribute to the broader school community.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and maintain open channels of communication with families.
Continuously improve teaching practices by engaging in professional development opportunities, workshops, and training.
Stay updated on the latest educational trends and best practices in the teaching fields.
Key Skills and Requirements
A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Education with a focus on Kiswahili and Social Studies at the primary school level.
At least 2 years of teaching experience in similar role.
Strong command of the Kiswahili language and a deep understanding of Social Studies concepts.
Ability to integrate technology into the classroom to enhance student learning.
Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
