Teaching and Instruction:
Deliver lectures, seminars, and practical demonstrations on various nursing topics.
Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and enhance learning outcomes.
Curriculum Development:
Participate in the design, review, and revision of nursing curricula to ensure alignment with current best practices and industry standards.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate innovative teaching strategies and technologies into the curriculum.
Student Support and Mentorship:
Provide academic advice and mentorship to nursing students, supporting their educational and professional development.
Assist students with research projects, clinical placements, and preparation for licensure exams.
Assessment and Evaluation:
Develop and administer assessments, including exams, quizzes, and practical evaluations, to measure student learning and performance.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their progress and performance.
Research and Scholarship:
Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publication, and presentations at professional conferences.
Stay current with developments in the field of nursing and incorporate new knowledge into teaching practice.
Service and Professional Development:
Participate in departmental, college, and university committees and initiatives.
Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and nursing knowledge.
Contribute to community outreach and service activities that promote the nursing profession.
Compliance and Accreditation:
Ensure that all teaching activities comply with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
Assist in the preparation and submission of documentation for program accreditation and reviews.

Minimum Qualifications, Regulatory & Legal Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing.
Must have a valid practicing license from the Nursing Council of Kenya.
Experience in coaching and mentoring learners
Knowledge in research methodologies
Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience.
Have a valid BLS certificate
Previous teaching experience in a nursing education program preferred.
Knowledge in sustainability and green initiatives will be an added advantage.
