ABOUT THE ROLEKey responsibilities for the role include:Collections & Customer engagementPlay a key role as a member of the collections team to ensure collections targets are metPrimary responsibility is the collection of an outstanding debt within agreed deadlinesSupport weekly communication strategies (emails, calls, etc.) to manage and assist in collecting delinquent debtorsEnsure customer queries are responded to within agreed timelinesEnsure records of customer interactions, comments, complaints and transactions are maintainedStakeholder engagementFamily engagement - CommunicationMaintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards parents at all times.School Leaders and School TeamsEnsure that school leaders for campus(es) you are responsible for are updated on their campus specific fee collection rates.Ensure risk areas are brought to the attention of the school leader and remedies actively discussed and implemented in partnershipEnsure gating is conducted in a family centric manner and on time.Business control environmentImplement internal controls across areas of responsibility to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of responsibilitiesEnsure timely and accurate update of dashboards and trackers as required for business decision making.GeneralContribute to the ongoing improvement of Nova Pioneer by suggesting and implementing measures that increase productivity, reduce costs and raise customer service levelsMaintain an effective and productive working relationship with the Finance team and contribute to activities to improve interaction and collaboration with the Finance team Achieve and maintain proficiency with the system and tools required to perform duties Other duties as assigned by the Global Collections Manager, which may include (but not limited to) assisting with billings during peak times.ABOUT YOUSkills, Experience & Qualifications required:A Bachelor's Degree (in Business preferred)CPA (K) or Finalist or it's equivalent (ACCA, CA etc) is an added advantageA minimum of 1-2 years of working experience.
