The Role We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pharmacy Operations Lead to join our team.
This role involves overseeing and managing our team of pharmaceutical technologists across multiple branches, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate will provide leadership, operational oversight, and support for professional development, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the quality of our pharmaceutical services.
Responsibilities Team Leadership and Management Serve as the line manager for pharmaceutical technologists across multiple branches, providing support, supervision, and mentorship.
Coordinate work schedules, leave planning, and task assignments to maintain optimal staffing levels across branches.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork within the pharmacy team.
Quality Assurance and Compliance Ensure all branches adhere to company protocols and regulatory standards for pharmaceutical care and medication safety.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance across all pharmacy branches.
Develop and implement best practices in pharmacy management, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Training and Development Collaborate with HR to identify training needs and support the implementation of ongoing training programs that enhance the technical skills and competencies of the pharmaceutical team.
Provide feedback and performance evaluations, setting clear objectives and development goals for team members.
Operations Management Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
Collaborate with the procurement team to maintain adequate stock levels and timely restocking across branches.
Assist in developing and refining SOPs to streamline pharmacy operations and improve service delivery.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to align pharmacy services with organizational goals and customer needs.
Payments and Billing Reports Reconciliation Track and reconcile paybill and billing reports Requirements Bachelors degree in Pharmacy.
Licensed and registered with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
At least 5 years of experience in pharmacy or pharmaceutical technology, with strong ownership and proactive management skills.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication management, and regulatory standards.
Proficiency in inventory management systems or CRM tools.
