Job Description Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a warm and friendly demeanour.
Assist with loading and unloading luggage from vehicles.
Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are handled with care and stored securely.
Transport luggage to and from guest rooms promptly and securely.
Ensure luggage is tagged and stored appropriately when necessary.
Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and directions.
Assist with any guest inquiries and offer solutions to any concerns.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and entrance areas.
Ensure that all areas are free from clutter and hazards.
Work closely with the front desk, concierge, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including driving regulations and handling of guest belongings.
Report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.
Accommodate special requests from guests, such as arranging transportation, providing amenities, or assisting with event setups.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle tags, guest requests, and other relevant information.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional training in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.
Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in a luxury hotel environment, is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to drive a variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmissions.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with grace.
Knowledge of Nairobi and local attractions is a plus.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Positive attitude and a willingness to go above and beyond for guests.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
