Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
Reviewing, comparing, and analyzing products and services to be purchased.
Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and costing records.
Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
Create collaborative / partnership relationship with key suppliers to identify and realize new value and reduce risk
Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers upon approval and review by the director
In-charge of local sourcing of products and services
In-charge of Oversees sourcing of products and services
Maintain contracts with the vendor/suppliers and monitor records on the performance of suppliers for purposes of providing performance feedback and updating service provider list.
Receive requisitions from various departments and doing sourcing as required.
Reconcile and resolve order discrepancies with suppliers
Maintain good relations with suppliers and negotiate on prices
Liaising with suppliers for timely delivery of products
Raising of LPOS and sending to the respective suppliers
Creating of new products and services in the system
Liaising with Stores and Logistics and ensuring timely purchasing and delivery of goods
Assist in QMS, EMS and OHSMS implementation.
Adhere to the workplace safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk-free work environment
Other duties which may from time to time be assigned to you
Ensure all the proper documentation required for purchase orders is completed and expedite the purchase orders with vendors and suppliers.
Prepare periodic procurement status reports for management review
Manage the contract tender process of various procurement/contract-related goods, services or work projects.
