The successful candidates will mainly be responsible for the room allocations and Tour Series for the DMC's, managing room inventory and ensure all the bookings, rates and market codes are up to date. Experience in the hospitality industry is a MUST!Key Responsibilities Contract room allocations and Tour Series for DMCs according to length of stay, number of properties used and availabilityManage our room inventory, release periods and terms and conditions for allocations and block bookingsEnsure the team processes all reservations requests, changes and cancellations according to established policies and proceduresEnsuring that maximum occupancies and revenues are achieved through upselling/cross selling, encouraging circuit bookings and offering alternativesConfirm waitlists as soon as space becomes availableMonitor, escalate and resolve overbookings in a timely mannerMeet or exceed established monthly and annual sales targetsCreate, maintain and keep accurate customer records within the CRS SystemMaintain an established filing system for all correspondence and collate reports as required by Head of ReservationsAttend weekly and monthly department meetings and prepare accordinglyConduct site visits as deemed necessary Requirements Bachelors degree or Diploma in HospitalityProven track record in Reservations with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experienceExceptional communication skillsCharismatic and approachable personalityStrong organizational and time management skills
