Roles and Responsibilities:
Accounting and Finance Operations
Assist in overseeing daily, weekly and monthly accounting functions for select operating entities such as: BS and P&L accounting (Cash, Intercompany, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accruals, Revenue, Billing, Payroll, Opex). This will also included assistance with month end close processes and reporting, general accounting, tax filings and all related statutory obligations
Handholding and training in-country teams
Support in managing relationships with the outsourced accounting vendor
Strategic Tax Management
Oversee the assessment of tax implications on new projects
Champion country and group transfer pricing documentation and tracking compliance
Participate in determination of optimal group transfer pricing structure that will result in tax advantages for the group
Technical Accounting
Review of consolidated reports and financial results
Perform detailed monthly country trial balance and balance sheet reconciliation reviews, including following through on resolution of matters arising
Support group audit processes including technical accounting, statutory financial statements preparation and consolidation
Provide general reporting support to the Financial Planning & Reporting team
Assist country finance teams with technical accounting and reporting including training on key IFRS / GAAP focus areas
Reporting / Planning and Analysis
Support financial reporting, KPI measurements, interpreting financial data to provide meaningful insight to drive business and operational decisions
Assist in preparation and distribution of financial information on a recurring basis including monthly business updates
Support in the verification of non-financial data and trends for periodic reporting
Support preparation of business and project analyses, financial forecasts and reports
Support Group forecasting processes to ensure key inputs are considered
Gather, analyze, and interpret data to support various business and financial needs by providing actionable recommendations
Provide general analytical support to the Financial Planning & Reporting team
Other supporting tasks on an adhoc basis as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Bcom / BA / BS degree or equivalent
CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent
At least 7 years of relevant work experience in finance/accounting
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience working in a multinational firm managing an accountancy/ finance function with a focus on audit is preferred
Solid understanding of IFRS
Strong project management, process improvement and computer skills
Experience with management of compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions
Attention to detail, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement, along with excellent analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and the ability to communicate with seasoned management.
Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and to lead and drive complex initiatives.
