Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Quality & Safety, the job holder is responsible for ensuring that the company implements technical assurance and energy management systems & standards to improve operations, maintenance, and overall business performance.
Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities: -
Planning, conducting and preparing reports on total productive maintenance (TPM) and energy management.
Liaising with plant engineers to develop engineering solutions for repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant performance technical parameters such as capacity availability, quality, cost and/or regulatory compliance.
Conducting root-course analyses to provide technical solutions to business performance challenges.
Collecting, collating and analysing process performance data to create useful information trends for decision-making.
Coordinating periodic audits of works to check compliance with established operational standards.
Establishing and maintaining the operations performance database.
Formulating technical assurance & energy management policy, programs and relevant procedures.
Creating awareness and monitoring the implementation of approved technical assurance and energy management policies and programs.
Conducting timely energy audits and submitting reports to ERC as per the regulations.
Educational Requirements Job Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution and accredited by EBK
At least one full professional certification in a relevant field e.g. Registered Engineer/ Licensed Energy Auditor/ Certified Measurement and Verification Professional or equivalent.
Experience in Plant operations, Energy Auditing and Quality Systems Audit is an added advantage.
At least 4 years relevant working experience.
Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
