What we are looking for We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst who will primarily be responsible for the management of finance and administration For us. This role reports to the Finance Manager. What does the job involve Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns, including VAT, PAYE, corporate income tax, and any other applicable taxes in accordance with Kenyan tax laws and regulations. Monitor changes in tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax risks such as absolute E-TIMS compliance. Proactively follow up on receivables. Scrutinize payment requests, before sending for approvals. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making and strategic planning. Establish and maintain internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations. Develop annual budgets in collaboration with department heads and senior management. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting in compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Represent finance department in Internal and external meetings. Qualifications Degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field from a recognized University. Minimum 3 years of relevant practical experience in Financial Management. Should have an Internationally recognized Accounting Qualification e.g. (Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Should have up to date knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Fluency in spoken and written English High level of Integrity, drive, initiative, motivation, commitment and professionalism Excellent verbal, analytical and organisational skills. Pay attention to detail. Excellent ICT skills including a good knowledge of MS Office and accounting software.
