Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Impact and Evaluation Analyst with vast experience in supporting startups across different sectors especially Edtech, to join our team and work specifically on our Edtech Fellowship program. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting edtech startups to measure their progress and capturing progress on agreed indicators for the entire program. This role requires expertise in modern impact assessment methodologies such as Theory of Change, Logical Framework Approach, Outcome Mapping, Most Significant Change, Social Return on Investment, Impact Management Project, Randomized Controlled Trials, Developmental Evaluation, Participatory Evaluation, Lean Data, stakeholder engagement and proficiency with contemporary impact evaluation tools.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Edtech startups to develop and implement robust frameworks for measuring their progress and impact towards achieving learning outcomes.

Design and execute comprehensive evaluation strategies to monitor and report on the progress of the Edtech Fellowship program granularly against agreed indicators.

Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of quantitative and qualitative data to assess the impact of the program, individual startups and granular Edtech product performance towards achieving learning outcomes.

Utilize modern impact evaluation tools and technologies to streamline data collection and analysis processes.

Prepare detailed reports and visually understandable presentations on evaluation findings, providing actionable insights and recommendations for program improvement.

Train and support startups and program staff in the use of impact measurement tools and methodologies.

Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on impact goals, pre-program indicators and iterative indicators.

Continuously update evaluation frameworks and methodologies to incorporate the latest best practices and technological advancements.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education: Master's or bachelor's degree or in Evaluation, Social Sciences, Education, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in impact evaluation, preferably in the education or technology sectors.

Skills

Proficiency with modern impact evaluation tools and software (e.g., R, Stata, NVivo, Tableau).

Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills.

Excellent data analysis and interpretation capabilities.

Proven ability to design and implement evaluation frameworks.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Experience in training and capacity building.
