Project Planning and Initiation:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules.
Identify and allocate resources (budget, manpower, tools).
Conduct risk assessments and establish risk mitigation strategies.
Project Execution and Monitoring:
Manage and lead the project team to meet deliverables.
Monitor project progress, track milestones, and make adjustments as necessary.
Oversee day-to-day activities to ensure alignment with project goals.
Identify issues or obstacles and troubleshoot solutions.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate project status, risks, and challenges to stakeholders regularly.
Facilitate meetings with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Gather and address feedback to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with expectations.
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and maintain project budgets.
Approve expenditures and adjust budgets as needed.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources and identify areas for cost-saving.
Quality Assurance:
Establish quality control standards and ensure compliance throughout the project.
Conduct reviews and customer satisfaction surveys as necessary.
Ensure final deliverables meet the quality expectations of the client and organization.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and final deliverables.
Provide regular progress reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
Conduct post-project evaluations and document lessons learned.
Present, on a regular basis, performance of projects at the Senior management and Executive level.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent (preferred).
Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Zoho Projects, Jira).
Should have a solid background in Information Technology operations - whether this be in systems administration, databases management, Network administration, etc.
