NKPCU/HRM/0 8 /202 4Terms of Service:Permanent and PensionableBasic Salary: Kshs.59,568 (Minimum) – Kshs. 86,549 (maximum)Other remunerations:Based on prevailing Government guidelinesReporting to Senior Quality Assurance OfficerDuties and ResponsibilitiesCarrying out moisture test analysis for issuance of parchment delivery booking for milling;Conducting random sampling on delivered consignment to determine moisture content and advice on appropriate measures;Carrying out quality checks on the milling process;Preparing coffee lab equipment to conduct pre-milling analysis;Preparing and setting of cupping apparatus; andRoasting coffee samples for cupping.RequirementsA minimum of four (4) years relevant work experience;Diploma in any of the following disciplines: - Coffee Technology and Quality Management, Food Science and Processing Technology or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution;Proficiency in Computer applications;Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results:Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; andFulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.Applicants certified by Coffee Directorate as coffee quality expert (liquor) and possess a valid Q grader certificate from Coffee Quality Institute (CQI) or recognized institution will have an added advantage
