YOUR MISSION:Mission 1 : Provides guidance and technical support to projects in accordance with the overall technical frameworks and standards within its sectoral perimeterProvides appropriate technical guidance and support to PM and the project team. Technical area includes (but not limited to) inclusive education concepts, curriculums and practices, teachers' continuous professional development, comprehensive child development, disability data, and school accessibility.Ensures that the project(s) activities are implemented according to internal quality and technical standards and proposes adjustments or improvements proactively.Adapts project documentation as required in accordance with global technical norms and standardsContributes to the regular reporting of the technical activities within and related to the project (collection and analysis of the technical data collected) in conjunction with the project team and the MEAL team.Ensures coordination and collaboration with the consortium partners and technical partners in the responsible camp as delegated by the specialists or PM.Mission 2 : Provides technical learning from projectsCollects the elements necessary for capitalization or scientific documentation exercises, by regularly reviewing and sharing contextual changes that affect the project quality implementation.Contributes to technical learning under the responsibility of the specialist or PM, based on good practice. Especially the roll will be responsible to produce 1 human story per month, 1 technical case study every 2 months, and 1 project update every 3 months, for the responsible location.Contributes to review of the terms of reference for data collection, assessment and evaluationsImplements recommendations for improving the technical quality of projectsMission 3 : Contributes to capacity building of the projectContributes to recruitment and induction of project support staff at the field levelContributes to or leads the necessary technical training, mentoring, coaching and constructive feedback in his or her fieldContributes to the skills upgrading plan for professionals in their sectorCan contribute to the development of a local talent pool related to inclusive education and disability inclusion (e.g. identify local talents and makes recommendations, identifies training needs)Mission 4: Contributes to ensuring HI's technical influence within its perimeterContributes to the influence of HI's expertise: Attend the monthly Education Technical Working Group meetings and can represent HI's technical expertise in relevant local networks and with local partners and share the reports from the meeting within 3 days after the meeting.YOUR PROFILE :Educational background and experienceBachelor's degree in education (Inclusive Education or Special Needs Education). A Masters degree would be an added advantage.Minimum 3 years of proven experience in implementing/ supporting Inclusive Education projects.Teaching experiences in inclusive mainstream schools, or special schools.Professional CompetenciesKnowledge of the different schools of thought and models explaining disability and is familiar with the application of certain tools.Knowledge of the international frameworks and technical issues of inclusive education.Knowledge of networks of actors and professionals inherent to the disability and education sectors (and inclusive education more specifically)Experience in humanitarian settings and adjacent host community settingsCommunicates in a clear, concise and responsible manner with respect for the interlocutor (adult or child); adapts his/her mode of communication and message, particularly in the context of intercultural communication, and at a distance.Identifies problems and activates solutions; knows how to raise problemsCan accompany and motivate a person/group.Knows how to plan, organize and measure its activities by setting clear, specific and measurable objectives and indicators.Promotes participation and cooperation in the activities of its service sector.Cross-Cutting SkillsProactivenessTeamwork/networking and cooperation.Respectful of other people's opinions and valuing other's skills for joint action.Giving and receiving constructive feedback, exchanging in multidisciplinary teams, networking and collaborating.Have an empathetic attitude.
