Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers regarding domain registration, transfers, DNS management, SSL certificates, and web hosting issues.
Assist in the setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of email services (Google Workspace and Microsoft 365).
Respond to customer inquiries through various channels (email, chat, phone) in a timely and professional manner.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to website performance, hosting configurations, and control panel operations (cPanel, Plesk, etc.).
Guide customers through technical processes such as installing and renewing SSL certificates, setting up domain forwarding, and managing DNS records.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues, including coordinating with third-party service providers.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of all technical issues, solutions, and customer interactions in the ticketing system.
Educate customers on best practices for website security, email management, and domain hosting solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, new features, and emerging technologies relevant to web hosting, domain services, and digital workspaces.
Qualifications
Experience in domain registration and web hosting environments, with a good understanding of
DNS management, domain transfers, and SSL certificate setup.
Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, particularly in email configuration and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in using hosting control panels (e.g., cPanel, Plesk) and knowledge of server environments (Linux, Windows).
Understanding of website management technologies, including FTP, HTML, PHP, WordPress, and database configurations (MySQL).
Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and in a team
Preferred Skills
Certifications in web hosting, cloud services, or email administration (e.g., Microsoft Certified:
Modern Desktop Administrator, Google Workspace Administrator).
Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
Understanding of security best practices in web hosting and email services.
