Duties and ResponsibilitiesReceiving and identifying patients for diagnostic and therapeutic proceduresPerforming diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and procedures in Therapy RadiographyVerifying and maintaining information related to patientsCaring and counseling patients and their guardians before, during and after examinationEstablishing and maintaining quality assurance programs; maintaining radiation therapy equipment and their accessoriesImplementing quality assurance programsRequisitioning and maintaining records of radiotherapy commoditiesCounseling cancer patients; assist in brachytherapy applicationsAssist in complex treatment planning and treatment deliveryPerform without supervision mould room applicationsEnsuring radiation safety within the health facilitySupervising and guide staff working under him/her & participating in the general health care activities in the hospitalRequirements for appointmentThree Years' experience in a relevant and comparable positionHigher Diploma or Bachelors in Radiography with Therapy Pathway or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institutionCertificate in computer applications from a recognized institutionShown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
