RequirementsGraduated with a degree in Tourism, Wildlife, Zoology or relevant majorMinimum 3 years of Tour Industry experience in a Reservation, Sales roles with proven experience in a Tour Operator companyWorking knowledge of East African Hotels with their unique selling points.Excellent organizational and Time Management skills, Research, Microsoft Office, Communication & Presentation.Extensive product knowledge for African destinations and travel product developmentExperience engaging customers through sales events as well as one-to-one.Personal and/or professional travel experience and rich knowledge of African wildlife, destinations, Culture and ArtA Driver's License is a bonus but not a must.Additional foreign language expertise also a bonusDutiesPrepare itineraries and quotes/ Organise bespoke departure packs for travellers.Assist Head office to designing flexible tour packages to meet of different clients.Maximizing and growing sales, facilitating inbound sales calls/chats and web inquiries, tracking, and follow-up with sales leadsWork as a team to track all enquiries efficiently and leave all customers feeling supported, engaged and fully prepared.Provide exceptional customer service by developing strong relationships to ensure Bobu Africa is at front-of-mind for potential future travel plansBuilding your product knowledge of African destinations and products to develop quality itinerariesWorking collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure smooth client experience and handling complaints/conflict situations when they arise
