Job Purpose StatementThe UX/UI Designer at LOOP DFS is responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for mobile and web applications to ensure a seamless user experience.The role requires collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals and experience. Using UI design principles, the designer will be responsible for conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity to complex design roadblocks ensuring ease of use, executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.Ideal Job SpecificationsAcademic:BSc. in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or relatedProfessional:Certification in UX/UI DesignDesired work experience:Proven UI experienceSolid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site mapsExcellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interactionSolid knowledge and experience of Figma, Adobe XD, InVisionUnderstanding of typography, colour, layout and motion design principlesKnowledge and experience of user experience design principles - heuristics principles, the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologiesDomain knowledge of Android, iOS and web software development platformsKnowledge and understanding of information architectureKnowledge and understanding of responsive designKnowledge and understanding of how to design for inclusivity and accessibilityExperience working in Agile/Scrum, SDLC development process2-3 years of relevant professional experience
