Job Description:
Sahara Post Productions is seeking a creative and passionate Entry-Level Video Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Video Editor, you will play a key role in creating engaging and high-quality content for a variety of clients, ranging from corporate videos to social media content, using industry-standard tools like Adobe Premiere Pro.
Responsibilities:
Edit video footage into compelling, high-quality content for various platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, corporate presentations, etc.).
Collaborate with the production team to ensure consistency with the company's creative direction and client needs.
Cut and assemble raw footage, adding sound effects, voiceovers, music, and graphics as needed.
Make revisions based on feedback from senior editors or clients.
Assist with color correction, audio syncing, and other post-production tasks.
Ensure timely delivery of all projects in line with deadlines.
Stay up to date with the latest editing software, tools, and trends in the industry.
Requirements:
Basic understanding of video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro.
A laptop or desktop computer, preferably with Windows OS and a minimum of Intel Core 5, 8th Gen or above.
A keen eye for detail and storytelling.
Good organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to take direction and implement feedback.
A portfolio of previous editing work is a plus (this could be personal projects, school work, or freelance gigs).
