Waiter At Christ Is The Answer Ministries

JOB SUMMARY
CITAM seeks to recruit a born-again Christian who is experienced and self-motivated to fill the position of a Waiter / Waitress, whose responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service to guests.
The position reports to the Catering Supervisor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the dishes and kitchenware to be used for service are clean and presentable.
Ensure the dining tables are clean, properly arranged and set up with clean linen, cutlery, and glasses.
Ensure excellent customer service is accorded to the guests.
Handle customer queries, conduct evaluation of customer satisfaction levels and escalate any major concerns.
Ensure that customers are billed on time and that all bills are settled as per the set guidelines.
Ensure high hygiene standards are observed during food service.
Ensure food and beverages are replenished as necessary.
Ensure used cutlery and all used equipment are taken care of.
Practical knowledge of ISO standards or any other standards for hospitality institutions.
Maintain a proper record keeping system for easy retrieval.

Requirements
Must be a born-again, mature Christian who conforms to the CITAM statement of faith.
Diploma in Food Production and Service or a related course from a reputable institution. A degree in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 Years experience in a busy set up.
IT competence with a bias in Hotel related Systems.
Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
