Warehouse Manager

REMUNERATION

We are looking for a strong and engaging people manager who can drive a team and deliver a clear operational plan, helping them to understand the bigger picture as well as the business objectives. You will have a passion for best practice, safety, efficiencies, continuous improvements and will be able to demonstrate that you have successfully achieved this in a previous position. We are looking for someone who has an innovative approach to leadership, someone who is creative and eager to inspire a team to implement new ways of working to improve performance.
Candidates will have a strong background and knowledge of warehouse operations, ideally, previous experience of handling and processing “large”/”ugly” freight.
Requirements
• Proven work experience as a warehouse manager
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability manage staff
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration
