About the role As a Warehouse Pharmaceutical Associate, you will be an integral part of our wholesale warehouse operations, ensuring efficient management and distribution of pharmaceuticals while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.

Responsibilities Pharmaceutical product management by implementing and maintaining a quality management system for pharmaceutical distribution in compliance with the PPB Act and the PPB Guidelines for Good Distribution Practices for Health Products and Technologies in Kenya - this includes: Establishing dedicated and demarcated areas in the warehouse for different stock categories, including for receipt of stock, general storage area of the drugs, drugs in quarantine, drugs rejected or expired, cold-chain storage, drugs returned, dispatch and storage of drugs.
Maintaining appropriate warehouse conditions such as temperature and humidity as required by different drugs Managing the proper handling of returned, expired and damaged drugs including the proper management of the disposal of quarantined drugs through authorized disposal companies.
Identifying drugs requiring special storage requirements such as cold chain storage and DDA drug storage by ensuring proper monitoring and recording of these controlled drugs.
Oversee the inbound and picking processes of all drugs to ensure correct SKU classification, accurate record-keeping, and handling these drugs to ensure their quality and correctness is maintained.
Conduct final quality check of all packages before dispatch to ensure 100% accuracy.
Supervise weekly cycle counts and monthly stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
Implement First in First out (FIFO) or First Expiry First out (FEFO) to ensure minimal drug wastage and all drugs are distributed before expiry.
Ensure the SOPS are well updated, adhered to and followed in the warehouse.
Requirements Licensed Pharmaceutical Technologist.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in managing and dispensing pharmaceuticals, ideally in a pharmaceutical wholesale warehouse setting.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
