THE JOB
As a warehouse worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role is essential to ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving and Processing StockUnload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
Organize and store materials in designated locations.
Maintain accurate inventory records.
Order Picking and PackingAccurately pick items according to order specifications.
Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
Prepare shipping labels and documentation.
Shipping and LogisticsLoad outbound shipments onto trucks or other transport methods.
Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery.
Inventory ManagementPerform regular stock counts and update inventory systems.
Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
Warehouse MaintenanceKeep the workspace clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
Safety and ComplianceFollow all safety procedures and protocols.
Adhere to company policies and guidelines.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Proven experience as a warehouse worker (preferred).
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50kgs) repeatedly.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
