Position Overview:
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced B2B Sales Executive to drive our electric motorcycle sales in Kenya. This role is critical to expanding Roam's presence in the market by targeting commercial clients, fleet operators, delivery companies, and other business sectors in need of sustainable transportation solutions. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean energy and has a track record in B2B sales, particularly in the automotive or mobility sector.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development:Identify and engage with potential B2B clients, including logistics companies, ride-hailing services, and businesses operating motorcycle fleets, to promote the benefits of Roam's electric motorcycles.
Sales Strategy Execution:Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to each client's operational needs, emphasizing the value of electric motorcycles in terms of cost savings, sustainability, and efficiency.
Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry partners to drive long-term partnerships and repeat sales.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:Accurately forecast sales and maintain detailed records of client interactions, contracts, and pipeline status using the company's CRM tools.
Product Knowledge and Demonstration:Provide clients with a thorough understanding of Roam's products, conducting on-site demonstrations and engaging in technical discussions to show the value of electric motorcycles in their specific operations.
Client Training and Support:Coordinate training sessions, onboard clients to the operational aspects of the motorcycles, and ensure continued client satisfaction post-sale.
Market Insights:Gather and report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities to assist the product and marketing teams in fine-tuning offerings and strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer support teams to deliver a seamless experience for clients and ensure alignment with Roam's brand values and mission
Skills & Experience
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience; proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
Proficient use of CRM software and Google Apps i.e. Sheets, Docs, Slides etc.
Understanding of sustainable business practices is desirable.
