In this role, you will provide valuable insights to support our products, portfolios, and leadership teams through comprehensive data analysis. The ideal candidate excels at utilizing diverse data sets to identify opportunities for product and process optimization and is proficient in developing models to evaluate different strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify data gaps and implement solutions to address them.
Provide actionable data insights to the products team for scaling and optimization.
Monitor and report on experiment results and impact analyses.
Develop state-of-the-art solutions to present data insights to the management team on-demand.
Analyze scoring and repayment data to identify patterns that inform customer behavior.
Develop and validate credit scoring models.
Deploy scoring models using REST APIs.
Document deployed code thoroughly.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science or Computer Engineering; a Master's degree is a plus.
Over 1 year of relevant experience in the data science field.
Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, such as tree-based methods and logistic regression.
Strong Python skills, especially in data analytics and science (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, seaborn).
Expertise in SQL database operations.
Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of both qualitative and quantitative data.
Solid understanding of statistical tests and analysis.
Ability to communicate model outputs and analyses to stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
Experience deploying predictive models at scale.
Keen attention to detail and a methodical approach to data investigation.
Collaborative and thrives in a team environment.
Familiarity with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS).
Knowledge of parallel processing technologies such as Spark and Dask.
Bonus: Experience working with financial data or credit scoring models.
