Job Overview We are looking for a reliable Doorman/Concierge to work at the front of our hotel. You will be the first to meet our customers so the first impression of our hotel depends on your friendliness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a smart and trustworthy individual able to provide customers with a warm greeting and handle all incoming requests. The goal is to contribute to an overall pleasant customer experience to increase our reputation and ensure sustainable growth. Duties and Responsibilities Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm and engaging service Ensure guests are greeted appropriately upon arrival in a warm manner Open car doors for arriving and departing guests and escort them to the lobby Control all guest car keys and ensure that cars are delivered upon guest request Forward all guest complaints or problems to the manager on duty Ensure that an effective handover is made between duty shifts Demonstrate a complete understanding of the hotel's policies procedures and service standards and have full knowledge of the hotel facilities and happenings at all times Establish, promote and maintain good public relations while meeting or exceeding guest expectations Assist guests with their luggage Keep a clear log of left luggage and maintain the luggage room Run guest errands as and when required Arrange events, excursions, transportation etc. upon request from our guests Be able to perform room orientation for guests as well as property inspections. (Show rounds) Requirements, Skills & Abilities Proven experience as a Doorman/Concierge; experience in customer service or relevant roles is an advantage Proficiency in English; multilingual is strongly preferred Excellent communication skills Polite and confident with a great deal of patience Ability to multitask and time management Aptitude in resolving issues with a customer-focused orientation Proper knowledge of the city e.g. various spots that guests would be interested in visiting, ATMs, Hospitals, Malls etc Knowledge of available flights and schedules Experience in a 4/5* hotel Powered by JazzHR
