The Enterprise Sales Lead will be helping drive the Strategy and Innovation to bring credible leads and gain successful closure in the pursuit of growing or recurring revenues exponentially.
The person will have an International / Regional outlook and be well networked in the Multinational Enterprise / Cloud / Content Delivery Network (CDN) / Connectivity Ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities: ECOSYSTEM Identify, target, and engage potential multinational clients (international logos) and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) to grow the enterprise colocation business.
Develop and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities across target international markets.
Understand opportunities in the Cloud/ CDN developments and propose go to market strategies Position IX Africa as the go to data centre for this Ecosystem Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and pricing strategies in the global colocation market.
Make pitches focused on Multinational Enterprise / Cloud / CDN / Connectivity Ecosystem as well as commercial proposals.
Propose any cost optimisation partnerships e.g.
for Hybrid Cloud / AWS Outpost / Azure Stack CONFERENCES and LEAD GENERATION Attend the key peering conferences and win business from this ecosystem Attend the relevant conferences and make direct connections with decision makers and influencers Arrange meetings with concrete leads and work with Sales team to get closure of contracts and recurring revenue generation COLLABORATION Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns for international logos and support lead-generation efforts.
Integrate with sales team for closure of contracts and recurring revenue Work with operations to ensure colocation solutions meet client expectations for uptime, scalability, and compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS: Degree Level Qualification 5 years + international bus dev ideally in the enterprise sales / cloud industry with strong track record of execution Strong understanding of the data centre industry, colocation, cloud computing, or related technology services.
Strong commercial acumen – evidence of initiating multiple mid-sized B2B deals Avid networker International mobility IT Savvy using innovative tools to improve efficiency Eager to continue learning Driven by attractive sales commissions SKILLS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to craft compelling proposals and present effectively Strong proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Hubspot) and MS Office Suite.
