The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new revenues by sealing partnerships with Medium to large insurers and insurance brokers in East Africa.
Job Responsibilities
Develop a Sales territory by conducting outbound sales campaigns aimed at winning business for the company.
Build a healthy pipeline of business to reflect the potential for the company in the region, and work to qualify viable opportunities to close business in the medium term.
Meet or exceed a sales quota for net new business with the targeted customers (insurers or brokers) over the reporting period.
Jointly manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, with support from leadership within the organization.
Serve as the primary point of contact on the ground, within your region, to coordinate customer engagement on sales activities; discovery, demos, proof of concepts (POCs) etc.
Effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) tools to manage the entire sales process, providing accurate and timely reports on deal statuses.
Channel feedback from the market, customers and prospects to the company, to enhance our product offering and market position.

Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of Business 2 Business sales experience, selling to Financial Services Institutions/Enterprise businesses in multiple countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Proven track record of exceeding sales quota preferably in Enterprise Technology Solution Sales.
Highly disciplined, and self-motivated - to execute well in a fast-paced environment.
Understands sales process and the need for timely updates.
Goal-getter, creative thinker & solution oriented.
Agile learner with a competitive spirit.
Knowledge of sales methodologies and frameworks such as consultative selling, MEDDIC, etc.
Excellent persuasive, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
