Role Overview
The Foot Soldiers/Field Sales Representatives will operate on the ground within their assigned territories, ensuring direct interaction with customers, securing orders, enhancing product visibility, and executing promotional campaigns. They play a critical role in building customer relationships, collecting market intelligence, and achieving sales targets.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct daily visits to retailers, distributors, or end customers to establish and maintain strong relationships.
Address customer inquiries and provide information about products and services.
Secure customer orders and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
Follow up on payments and ensure proper documentation.
Implement in-store promotions, campaigns, and product displays to boost sales.
Educate customers on promotions and new product offerings.
Gather and report competitor information, including pricing, promotions, and market trends.
Provide timely feedback to the Territory Manager for strategic decision-making.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, sales, and customer feedback.
Submit regular reports to the Territory Manager on sales performance and market conditions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 1-2 years of experience in field sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
Familiarity with the assigned territory.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
Proficiency in using basic reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, CRM systems).
