Junior Accountant

Employd Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team.

You will assist with various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and maintaining the accuracy of financial records.
The ideal candidate should be familiar with basic accounting principles and have a passion for numbers and analysis.
Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of financial statements Perform data entry and maintain financial records Reconcile accounts and aiding in month-end closing processes Support with budget preparation and forecasting Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable Prepare and post journal entries Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards Stay informed about accounting legislation and best practices Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel Experience with accounting software (e.g.
QuickBooks, Sage) is a plus Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Effective communication skills Organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude Willingness to learn and develop in the accounting profession
