EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our legal department at Mogo Auto ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience providing legal support. You will assist in managing legal documentation, supporting litigation efforts, ensuring regulatory compliance and providing general legal assistance to the company's operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Issuing out instructions to external counsels to institute recovery suits against defaulting clients.
Maintain a register of all claims, suits and assignments in a prescribed format. Reviewing suit documents to ensure the same are accurate. And ensuring a timely update on the progress of the suits and assisting in debt recovery processes.
Taking up the role of witnessing and attesting on behalf of the company.
Assist in reviewing progress of outstanding litigation. Managing and liaising with external counsels on all matters litigation and attending court as and when required.
Offer legal support to debt collection team and other business departments and offer advisory on the matters as may be required.
Preparation, drafting and review of settlement agreements, contracts and other legal documents. Coordinate and track any key legal dates including contract renewals and relevant deadlines.
Help prepare documents for regulatory filings and compliance reports.
Assist with corporate governance tasks, including maintaining corporate records, board minutes, and filings.
Manage and organize the company's legal documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with company policies and regulations.
Provide general administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations and handling internal communication.
Any other duties assigned.
EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
Completion of Post Graduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law and has undertaken pupillage.
At least one year experience in the provision of legal services in a reputable law firm or the legal department of a leading corporate institution.
