Job Description
Reporting to the Tribe Lead- Digital Services Tribe, the role holder will be responsible for driving end-to-end execution of Gaming within Digital Products and Services. They will be tasked with content acquisition coordination and managing relationships of local and international content providers and OTT content partnerships. The role holder will also be responsible for local content aggregation through Content Partners to provide the best local content that will attract, engage and retain our customers while simultaneously achieving a successful multi-platform experience as well as ensuring that the content strategy is implemented in alignment with overall business strategy, market needs and requirements.
.Job Responsibilities
Drive ongoing Gaming revenue targets through innovation and winning partnerships.
On-board partners who deliver the strategy and roadmap for Gaming Content.
Create and manage winning partnerships with Content Providers and platforms.
Manage the full product development lifecycle for Gaming products including products rationalization and enhancements of existing products.
Ensure transfer and sustenance of Gaming products knowledge among the consumer unit and customer support teams including retail, tech and support teams before launch and thereafter during the product lifecycle.
Co-ordinate with brand marketing and business planning to achieve products take-up in the market through attractive packaging, pricing and positioning.
Work closely with other stakeholders to define a clear and precise go-to market strategy and channel engagement including visibility requirements.
To ensure high levels of quality and customer experience in the gaming portfolio through documented, simple, and well tested sales, provisioning and support processes.
Analyse customer insights, usage patterns, competition activities, and market scenario to draw insights into customer usage /recharge behaviour to design gaming propositions to optimize revenue and profitability.
Develop the commercial case and secure commercial approvals for the portfolio.
Present gaming commercial performance in monthly reviews (Customers, Revenues, Share, NPS, ARPU, Smartphones, Data Usage).
Responsible for the development of an annual/bi-annual/gaming strategy.
Consolidate the marketing research and data on customer segments- identifying key gaming insights and business opportunities.
Manage Gaming Opex Budget.

Qualifications
Upper second class degree in Business or Commerce from a recognized University.
5 years working experience in Telecom or FMCG with exposure to Segment Marketing.
High level knowledge of Commercial knowledge.
High level knowledge of MS Office applications.
Ability to identify people's needs, interests and motives to be able to influence the decisions they make.
Ability to work well with others by pro-actively adapting own style and approach to build rapport, and work with others more effectively
Demonstrates a cross-functional, end-to-end approach to problem-solving, leveraging product, technology, and process expertise to drive continuous improvement, maximize performance, and focus resources on high-impact activities.
Demonstrates openness to new ideas and creative problem-solving to drive innovation and exploit opportunities.
Possession of strong decision-making abilities backed by data and research to ensure competitiveness and financial viability, balancing current and future business needs while maintaining compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Skilled in defining project scope and deliverables, ensuring alignment with time, cost, quality, and business objectives.
Possession of the following functional competencies; Partner Management, Content Strategy development, Commercial Acumen, GTM and P&L Management.
