Key Responsibilities:
Collaboratively develop the content of the adolescent and caregiver communication and relationship-strengthening training curriculum
Develop the training manual and schedules
Work with other partners to incorporate appropriate training materials into the training
Oversee the training of the lay mental health workers to ensure a thorough understanding of the theory and practice of the communication training curriculum.
Development of a supervision plan throughout study follow-up/intervention delivery to monitor the fidelity of training material and quality.
Offer mental health support and referrals as needed to lay mental health, workers, research assistants, and study nurses who experience vicarious trauma through their work with participants.
Oversee training adolescent and caregiver communication and relationship-strengthening training curriculum by the lay mental health workers and sometimes conduct the training sessions as needed.
Maintain a training attendance register to assess uptake of the communication training intervention among intervention participants with support from the lay mental health workers
Assess knowledge uptake and implementation by the study participants
Write weekly and monthly reports on training progress, challenges faced, and possible solution
Contribute your expertise in behavioral health to inform study intervention, interpretation of findings, and overall study management.
Interact with participants in accordance with ethical standards and guidelines for research involving human subjects.

Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from a recognized institution Mandatory
Must be registered with the relevant professional body Mandatory
Excellent training skills including communication, needs assessment, course development, scheduling, implementation of training, and the training impacts Mandatory
At least two years of experience with supervision Mandatory
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Mandatory
Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel with Data entry experience preferred Mandatory
Strong analytical ability, Problem-solving skills ,ability to think critically, planning, and organizational skills Mandatory
Familiarity with evidence-based practices in behavioral health management Mandatory
Excellent ability to articulate complicated material to adult learners Mandatory
Knowledge of nutrition and/or agriculture preferred Mandatory
