The Retail Manager manages the Retail sales operations ensuring that company volume sales, distribution/availability objectives are achieved within the assigned region
Key Responsibilities.
Leading the retail selling activities within the region, including resource deployment and retail customer interactions. In charge of all retail sales operations in his /her assigned region at retail level.
Developing and executing efficient route to market strategies to achieve optimal retail efficiency
Mapping all retail stores in the assigned region
Manage Van Sales and Tuk tuk sales reps/ supervisors in the assigned region and ensure product availability in all retail stores.
Key priority account Management ensuring they have minimum 2 weeks minimum stock cover for all the products.
Ensure all retail outlets are served adequately and product assortment is met.
Mapping and recruiting and retail and convenience stores in the assigned region.
Ensure continuous listing and distribution of new products, visibility drive through postering and merchandising.
Creating a monthly marketing plan for retail especially on new products and ensure execution is done to 100%.
Ensure that merchandising standards are met in store in all the convenience stores
Monthly training of Field sales representatives to equip them with dynamics of the market elasticity.
Sharing Daily, weekly, and monthly reports also with action plan to ensure targets are met and surpassed Month on month.
Team management to ensure all person are on track and aligned with company objectives.
Planning and budgeting annual Promotions including JBPs and ensure specific customers meet their assigned targets and sharing with them month on month performance.
Minimum Requirements
Degree in a business-related field. Sales & Marketing preferred
At least 6 years' experience, 2 out of which in retail business in consumer goods set up
