Sales Executive is responsible for executing sales activities for Changan Brand that drive targeted Revenue, Profit and Market Share objective in Kenya. The Job holder initiates sales activities beyond regular retail sales with focus on fleet and multiple vehicles deals to drive rapid market share and volume growth.
In addition, the role holder will require to have deep understanding of the brand in order to build relations with customer and adequately guide them through the entire sales process.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering assigned Sales plan for Changan brand, ensures both long term and short-term targets are achieved (monthly, quarterly), in the right model mix and at targeted margin level
Relentlessly works on creating the leads funnel and targeted customer data base expansion to ensure continuous volume growth in the market and market share gain
Runs competitive and external events assessment and provides management with pricing, margin, marketing activities and other insights that might enable better commercial delivery
Builds relationships with potential fleet (leasing, commercial, corporate, government) clients, creates tender opportunities to push multiple vehicles deals on the regular base
Works together with relevant functions within organisation (Service, Parts, Brand and customer service) to ensure best customer satisfaction and repeat purchases
Together with Sales manager and Markerting team.The Sales Executive will build a strong brand image within relevant commercial / B2B customer audiences
Ensures right profitability and product mix while delivering overall brand objective
Runs brand presentations at various events, delivering brand benefits to various customer groups
Provides feedback to management on market trends, customer preferences and product improvements
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and ethical standards in all sales activities
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a Business-Related field
Proven success 5+ years working in Sales capacity, experience in automotive industry is a must
Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to sell ideas and projects to key stakeholders
Very strong drive to achieve set targets, "delivery" culture adept
Excellent knowledge of sales, commercial and customer engagement up to date practices
High level of integrity and commitment to right way of doing business. Attention to details
Efficiency in problem solving, finding best ways to deliver business objectives
Proven experience in running tender or fleet sales, working with corporate and government procurement functions is a strong competitive advant
