Role Purpose
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the individual will be responsible in promoting Sacco products and services to members and potential members with the aim of maximizing profits and help in implementation of marketing strategies aligned with the organizational strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment of new Sacco members.
Reactivation of Dormant accounts.
Market and sell all Sacco products and services to all Sacco members, customers and prospects.
Achieving set targets for alternative banking channels.
Take responsibility for specific market campaigns within regions.
Organizing and hosting presentations and customer visits.
Attend relevant trade exhibitions and meetings to recruit.
Keeping track of members/customers with outstanding Sacco Loans.
Prepare and submit monthly reports.
Provide feedback to the Sacco on member issues and expectations.
Identify market and develop ways of entry into the markets.
Essential Skills and Key Attributes
Proficiency in computer applications.
Knowledge of SACCO products, services and policies.
Good planning, analytical and monitoring skills.
Experience in sales of products and services will be an added advantage.
Demonstrates ability to close sales and grow clients members base.
Strong client relationship management skills.
Ability to meet monthly targets.
A good understanding of the target market and growth opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
Certificate in Business/Sales & Marketing or its equivalent from a recognized learning institution.
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business/Sales & Marketing or its equivalent from a recognized learning institution will be an added advantage
Individuals with professional qualifications and/or experience in sales and marketing will have an added advantage.
At least one (1) year experience in sales and marketing in the Sacco/Financial Services Industry.
Minimum of KCSE Grade C- (minus).
