About the Job:We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. For this role, we are also looking for individuals who have used NetSuite either in their current role or previous role. You will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance. Key Responsibilities: Create Cash flow and assist in the preparation of annual budgets and ForecastAid in Payroll reconciliation and payment of salariesPerform Bank Reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerManage the Fixed Asset registerAid month close reconciliation of balance sheet accountsBook revenue and perform accounts receivable reconciliationsManage Intercompany transactions and reconciliationsAid in statutory or financial auditsMonitor accounts payable and ensure payments are made on timeFile statutory deductions and tax remittances for the business and liaise with tax authorities where necessaryMaintain ISO Compliance, monitor SOP and update any changes in processes, spearhead ISO AuditsCoordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is accurate and accessibleStay updated on accounting standards and changes in regulations, ensuring Sama's adherence to best practicesProvide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants fostering their professional growth Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplineRelevant certification (ACCA, CPA) will be preferredProven experience as an Accountant, Accounting Supervisor, Senior accountantExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processThorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures; and familiarity with financial accounting statementsAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools Good to have: Hands-on experience with NetSuiteAccuracy and attention to detailAptitude for numbers and quantitative skillsStrong communication skills (both written and verbal)Ability to manage cross functional stakeholder expectations About SamaSama provides high-quality training data that powers AI technology for Fortune 2000 companies such as Google, Walmart, Ford, Microsoft, and Marriott.
