Consultant–Un Decade On Ecosystem Restoration At United Nations Environment Programme (Unep)

Details of the offer

• Be responsible for the update and finalization of the UN Decade's Resource Mobilization Strategy and its action plan, as well as related documentation and briefs.
Be responsible for the preparation and follow-up to resource mobilization meetings, conferences, consultative workshops in close coordination with the Decade's Coordination Group (UNEP and FAO) and key partners.
Support resource mobilization activities for the World Restoration Flagships and UN Decade's Action Plan and develop related applications, budgets and other documentation as appropriate, engage into the communication in coordination with relevant colleagues and partners.
Provide inputs to the planning and framing of the UN Decade's activities, including for its second half (2026-2030).
Develop reports, notes, web stories, and other follow-up documents to the related meetings and events.

Qualifications/special skills
Academic Qualifications: An advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in environmental affairs, climate change and nature conservation, economics, business administration or a related field is required.
A first-level university degree in combination with two (2) additional years of qualifying work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
At least 3 years of professional experience in mobilizing investments and working with private sector, Environment Social and Governance (ESG) or programme management is required. Experience in developing strategies and implementation plans for organizations is essential.
